Focus and concentration are a prerequisite for success. Do you think so guys? Most of you will aggree... I hope. It helps us to effectively accomplish our tasks in a successful way; saving us time, and giving us a comfortable sense of well-being, confidence, and much more.
The best way to effortlessly find focus and concentration - just when we need it - is to simply raise our self-esteem: The higher our self-esteem, the better our ability to focus. Now, raising self-esteem is a process, and self-esteem, itself, is a vital, reflection of ourselves - and subject to change, which means that we can't count on being at our best each and every day...
So here are 2 tips I want to share with you to help you achieve balance when you need it. But please remember that in order to access "real" focus - naturally and automatically - we need to take care of our self-esteem first. And this can be accomplished through therapy and/or by reading high-quality self help books that give results that last.
Now to my tips: If there are times where you know you need to focus, and yet you still keep on getting distracted by; for example; disturbing thoughts - you can, as a suggestion, try 2 things I made use of as a professional-level athlete when I was a little younger. These "secrets" are used to help assure a top performance by virtually all high-level athletes in major competitions - They are simple, yet powerful techniques that can help us to focus all our attention on the task immediately before us.
1.Your breathing - When you concentrate on your breathing, you are immediately brought back to so-called "real-time" - the immediate here and now. It doesn't matter how you are breathing at that moment - with your concentration now focused on the present, you are better able to accomplish whatever you want.
2.Your body - Choose a part of your body and focus on it: You will immediately bring all your attention back to the present moment because your physical being always exists in real-time...and when you're back in real-time - all your thoughts are focused on the here and now, with no thought to any other time or place - In short, you're concentrated on the present, and free to focus your mental concentration on whatever immediate task you wish to accomplish.
